Product Care
We consider our uncommon pieces wearable art. They are meant to be loved and lived in, but to give them the longest life, we recommend removing them before swimming, exercising, showering, and sleeping. Keeping brass as dry as possible is key!

As all pieces are handmade, often using untreated and raw materials, you may notice your piece tarnish over time. For the general maintenance of mild discoloration, gently rub with a polishing cloth to remove dirt and oils.
To remove a more advanced tarnish/discoloration from your brass jewelry, I recommend using Brasso (for brass pieces only, this method is too harsh for sterling silver). This can be purchased at your local hardware store, Home Depot, or online. Wearing gloves, apply a pea size amount to the item & rub the Brasso in with a cloth or rag. Use a paper towel to remove the excess Brasso & dry the item completely. Alternatively, you can combine 1/4 cup white vinegar, 1 tsp dish soap, & 1 cup warm water. Let your jewelry soak for about 3 minutes. Rinse & dry very thoroughly.
