Leo (sunset kyanite)

These earrings feature solid brass Leo bar charms and burnt orange kyanite shields.
 
I chose this stone for both its shape and color. The deep, warm orange is an unmistakable nod to the Sun (Leo’s ruling planet) and radiates the same bold energy. Wearing orange is also said to help amplify a Leo’s natural enthusiasm, confidence, and vitality.
 
The shield-like shape of the kyanite adds another layer of meaning: protection. For all their shine and bravado, Leos wear their hearts on their sleeves, and that kind of courage deserves a little armor.
